How Do I...?

Resident Involvement

How can you get involved in improving and developing our services to you?

We encourage residents to be involved in the running of the Association and have a Resident Forum which discusses levels of service and proposes improvements to quality and efficiency.

But if a regular meeting is not for you there are many other ways you can get your views across. You could:

  • Join your housing officer on an estate inspection
  • Join our e-mail database and respond to occasional e-mails
  • Attend a focus group on a subject that interests you
  • Come to an estate meeting
  • Reply to questionnaires
  • Take part in our editorial panel checking that the information we send out is easy to understand
  • Help organise our annual residents conference
  • Join a residents group

Why should I get involved?

It's your home and we want you to enjoy living there. We want you to have as much control as possible over your home and its environment. The more we know what you want, and get feedback on how we are doing, the more likely we are to succeed.

I don't have much time, how can I contribute?

We value your input whether it is just the occasional phone interview or email comment or becoming a formal committee member.

Will it cost anything?

No. We will pay reasonable travelling expenses and childcare costs so that you can attend meetings.
