How Do I...?

Ways to Pay

There are a number of ways that tenants can pay their rent and charges. Here are the most common methods.

AllPay

allpay.net was introduced in November 2006 to give you a greater variety of ways to pay your charges.

All tenants should have received a swipe card, which can be used to make payments at all PayPoint outlets, Woolworths stores and Post Office™ branches. This service enables you to pay charges using cash and debit card.

You can also continue to make payments at all payzone outlets and participating e-pay outlets until May 2009.

You can find your nearest payment outlets by visiting www.allpay.net/outlets

Your swipe card can also be used to make payments over the internet by visiting www.allpayments.net. This service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and enables you to pay charges using a debit or credit card.

You can also use your swipe card to make payments by phone by dialling 0870 243 6040. This service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and enables you to pay charges using a debit or credit card.

Direct Debit

Direct Debit is an instruction to your bank or building society authorising them to deduct money from your account. This method of payment provides peace of mind in knowing that your payment will be made automatically and payment dates will not be missed. Always ensure that you have enough funds in your account to cover the direct debit amount.

Standing Order

Standing order is an instruction to your bank or building society authorising them to deduct money from your account. If you pay by this method, you will have to instruct your bank on an annual basis to amend your payments should there be an increase/decrease.

Bank Transfer

You can transfer the rent amount to HPCHAs bank account on a monthly basis. Please send your payment at least five working days before the payment date to allow the payment to reach us. If your payment is late in reaching us you will be charged interest.

Cheque

You can pay your rent by cheque on a monthly basis. Please ensure that your cheque is sent to us at least seven working days in advance of your payment date to allow time for the cheque to clear. If your cheque is late in reaching us you will be charged interest.
