Benefits
There are a wide range of benefits available to people who are carers, elderly, disabled, unemployed, sick and employed; either with or without children. Make sure you are receiving all the benefits you are entitled to by completing the Government's online assessment.
If you work (full- or part-time), ask your local Jobcentre Plus if you are entitled to claim any of the following benefits:
- Child Tax Credit
- Child Benefit
- Council Tax Benefit
- Disability Living Allowance
- Housing Benefit
- Maternity Allowance
- Working Tax Credit
If you are sick or disabled, ask your local Jobcentre Plus if you are entitled to claim any of the following benefits:
- Council Tax Benefit or Council Tax Reduction for disabled people
- Disability Living Allowance or Attendance Allowance
- Employment and Support Allowance
- Housing Benefit
- Income Support
If you are unemployed, ask your local Jobcentre Plus if you are entitled to claim any of the following benefits:
Contact your Local Authorities Benefit Department to see if you are eligible and the approximate amount you may be entitled to.
