Help to improve your neighbourhood

Have you got a great idea for improving your home or neighbourhood?

Take the chance to put your suggestions to Hightown's senior managers and Board members during this summer's walkabout. They have put aside a few weeks to visit you to hear any suggestions for improving where you live.

As a result of suggestions from residents made last year we have already:

• Planted hedges around the front gardens of homes in St Pauls Road in Hemel Hempstead to protect gardens from littering.
• Extended gardens at Springfield Close in Aylesbury to incorporate wasteland that tended to look unkempt and attract litter.
• Moved the bin stores away from the front houses in Everall Close in Hemel Hempstead to improve the outlook from the homes and move any smells away.
• Painted the underside of the balconies at Russell Court in St Albans to improve the appearance of the homes.
