Norris Close residents improve their estate

15.06.2010

Nearly fifty residents of Norris Close in London Colney enjoyed a day improving their estate, with the help of Hightown Praetorian & Churches Housing Association (Hightown).

Activities included a plant pot painting competition for children and a prize for the best front garden in the Close. Residents were given plants, pots and troughs to further improve their estate.

Also on the day, grounds maintenance contractors Cleartack cleared two large shrub beds ready to be replanted, and established new raised flower beds at the entrance of Norris Close. Hightown’s caretakers were also on hand to give residents a hand with clearing their gardens.

Frances Dyson of Hightown’s Estates Quality team said “We are really pleased so many residents took part in improving their estate. Hightown has put a lot of work into grounds maintenance in Norris Close, so it was great to see so many people taking pride in where they live and looking after the new shrubs and plants.”
