Bring all the family along to a fun Easter egg hunt in aid of Renaissance – the local day care centre that provides support and guidance to people with mental health issues. The Easter egg hunt is on Easter Sunday 3rd April and will start at the Robin Hood Inn in Tring at 11.00am. Participants will enjoy a 1.5mile walk all around Tring, finishing back at the Robin Hood Inn. It’s only £1 per person to enter and hot cross buns will be provided to help people get on their way. Fifty percent of all proceeds will be donated to Renaissance Day Care Centre.
Renaissance in Aylesbury, is operated by Hightown Praetorian and Churches Housing Association. It seeks to support the rehabilitation of adults aged 18 to 65 whose lives have been affected by mental health problems. An important ethos of Renaissance is the sharing of skills and experience so that both members and staff make an important contribution to the project.
Kim Challinor, Manager of Renaissance said “as well as being lots of fun, the money raised from the Easter egg hunt will be invaluable for providing training and activities at Renaissance”.
So come along between 11am and 2pm on Easter Monday and be part of the fun.
