01.04.2009
Drawing on his prodigious talents on keyboards, trumpet and drums and early years influences like Elton John, Billy Joel and Tom Petty, Jack McManus had simply the best year ever in 2008.
Appearances at the V Festival, T in the Park and The Paradiso in Amsterdam (amongst others), appearances on GMTV and MTV, huge success with his debut album ‘Either Side of Midnight’ and regular airplays on Radio 2 and other popular radio stations of his two hit singles from the album, ‘Bang on the Piano’ and ‘You Think I Don’t Care’, have all made it a year to remember for Jack. 2009 promises even better things, with his new album is well on its way to completion.
We’re especially pleased to be finally getting Jack along to The Stables because he’s giving up his time for free, in aid of a very needy and worthy cause. Renaissance, based in Aylesbury, works tirelessly to provide support and guidance to adults with mental health issues. It’s an often overlooked facet of our society and struggles for funding and attention on a regular basis.
Jack will be performing with invited guests on the night, so a memorable and entertaining evening is guaranteed.
A Friday night out at one of the best venues in the country, with a guaranteed star of the future and all in support of an excellent cause? What more could you ask for!
Tickets to see Jack McManus & Guests, in aid of Renaissance, at the Stables on Friday 3rd July cost just £20 and are available from www.stables.org, or call the box office on 01908 280800.
