Following the success of last years Summer Road Show, Hightown carried out their annual 3 day 'walkabout' tour of sixty of their housing estates. This years’ Road show took place from Wednesday 27th to Friday 29th August 2008.
Chief Executive David Bogle, Director of Operations Susan Wallis, Chairman Mike Bailey, Board Members and other members of staff visited different areas across each of the housing developments in Herts, Bucks and Beds.
At each venue, a 'walkabout' took place and many residents joined in. Staff carried out an inspection of each site and were on hand to answer any queries, meet the residents and give out information on various issues. Activities such as face painting, juggling, and games were arranged at some of the larger estates which were particularly welcomed and enjoyed by the children.
In addition to regular inspections which are carried out by Hightowns' Housing Estate Quality Team; the Road show is an annual event giving residents the opportunity to meet and talk with the Chief Executive, Director of Operations and various Board Members.

We will be following up suggestions made by residents during our walkabouts and look forward to seeing the results during next year's event"
