Intermediate Rent
The Intermediate Rent scheme offers brand new homes at a rent normally 20 – 30% lower than you would expect to pay for a similar home in a comparable location. Originally only available to Key Workers, due to the current economic climate this option is now available to home seekers who are looking to purchase a property in the next five years, to help them to save for a deposit. Some schemes have additional eligibility criteria specific to them. Intermediate rent homes are generally let on an Assured Shorthold Tenancy.
Hightown currently have intermediate rent apartments available at Bulbourne House, The Cotterells, Hemel Hempstead (part of the Image development). These 1 and 2 bed apartments come with fitted kitchen, bathroom, good sized bedrooms, a large living / dining area and with lifts to all floors. All apartments are fully carpeted.
To qualify to rent one of these apartments, applicants need to:
· Register with Lea Valley Homes
· Satisfy minimum income criteria
· Not have a household income of more than £44,000
