Hightown's Intermediate Rent properties are 20% cheaper than similar properties to help individuals, couples and families to save for a deposit and get onto the property ladder within the next five years. 

Intermediate rent properties come in all shapes and sizes, from one bedroom apartments to three bedroom houses. Most of Hightown's properties are in St Albans and Hemel Hempstead, but we also have some homes in Watford and Croxley Green.

Intermediate rent homes are generally let on an Assured Shorthold Tenancy.

To rent one of these properties, all you need to do is (additional criteria may apply to some schemes):

• Register with Lea Valley Homes
• Satisfy minimum income criteria 
• Not have a household income of more than £60,000 
• Have a deposit of £500
• Choose the home you want to move into

Some properties are available straight away, and once approved, applicants can move into their home in a matter of days!
