Volunteering at Renaissance Charity Shop

Ever thought of Volunteering?

The money raised from the charity will provide valuable financial assistance to Renaissance day support service, based in Aylesbury, that provides valuable support to people recovering from mental health problems and for people with learning disabilities.

By volunteering, you not only will be helping raise money towards providing support to adults whose lives have been affected by mental health problems and to people who have a learning disability, but you will also be working with Renaissance service users, providing them with valuable support as nthey also volunteer in the Charity Shop.

Do you have the skills and qualities we need?

• Patient -  Able to listen to our customers and help them. Able to support other volunteers who may have a learning disability.
• Adaptable - Willing to work across different sectors of the shop e.g. Labelling and sorting stock or working at the checkout.
• Sensible & Responsible - Take pride and be responsible for the work that you are involved with .
• Trustworthy - You may have responsibility for opening or closing the shop, dealing with money and making sure that we offer a high standard of service to our customers.
