Hightown Praetorian & Churches Housing Association has established a reputation for providing high quality care and supported housing across Herts and Bucks. Today we have around 350 staff and more than 400 units of accommodation. This means that we are able to offer services for people with a wide range of needs.
Our purpose is to develop and provide high quality and affordable housing, support and services for people with mental health problems or learning disabilities.
Aim
We aim to provide appropriate support to each person living in their own home to enable them to develop independent living skills, be involved in decisions regarding their life and participate in their local community.
Vision
We aim to enable people using our services to increase their independence, autonomy and responsibility in their lives through individual support and housing that is suitable, accessible and of a high quality.
Objectives
Role of Staff
Each housing and support staff team provides 24 hour cover and support to a given group of residents. Where we provide high levels of support (in some of our residential services) there is one member of staff sleeping in and another person awake.
There is emergency support from a senior member of staff who is on call for advice at all times. Each resident has an identified link worker.
