The association has 36 voluntary members who meet at the Annual General Meeting to elect the Board from the membership, approve the annual accounts and appoint the auditors.
The Board meets every six weeks and controls the activities of the association delegating day-to-day operations to the Chief Executive and the Officers.
The association currently employs over 450 staff most of whom are based in care homes and supported housing projects which provide housing and support to people with learning disabilities, people with mental health problems and young, single people. The association is committed to supporting and developing its staff so as to provide excellent services to its residents.
